Each insert is a high-fidelity, single-use tissue module that drops into the FVS task trainer, so residents keep logging deliberate-practice passes without repurchasing hardware. The FVS System's two knot-tying tasks (Tasks 1 and 2) use the trainer's hook and free tie and do not require a consumable insert. A complete practice pass across the four insert-based tasks uses one insert of each type.
